OVERVIEW and INTRODUCTION June 14, 1992

Started in August 1991, Andrew's VEE-AR Club is:
The first family-oriented Virtual Reality club
started by an eight-year-old boy and his dad.
The Club's purpose is to provide serious information about VR to
interested lay-persons of all ages.
The Club's focus is on providing a vehicle for people interested in
VR to communicate with each other about VR
issues.
Examples:
- The Club has an annual meeting in Stoughton, WI. (late summer).
- published a paper on VR by a straight-A high school student,
Dan La Valley.
- published a winning entry in "Invent America" by an eight-
year-old girl from Florida, Selena Moshell.
- participated in, and reported on, a VR trade show in Madison, WI.
- spun off a programming company, VRontier worlds of Stoughton,
which creates software for education with VR Studio.
Subscriber base as of June, 1992, is 38. Subscribers include a VR artist
in Seattle, a director of a VR laboratory in Florida and his
daughter, a production company, and families around the USA.
Sponsors: Clark Services, Stoughton Newspapers, CYBER-EDGE Journal.
President and Karate white belt is Andrew Hayward.
Annual Membership rates:
$5.00 under 17, $10.00 Adult, $15.00 family, $25.00 business.
