  1.                  OVERVIEW and INTRODUCTION                    June 14, 1992

  3. Started in August 1991, Andrew's VEE-AR Club is:
  4.                         The first family-oriented Virtual Reality club
  5.                         started by an eight-year-old boy and his dad.
  6.  
  7. The Club's purpose is to provide serious information about VR to
  8.                         interested lay-persons of all ages.
  9.  
  10. The Club's focus is on providing a vehicle for people interested in
  11.                         VR to communicate with each other about VR
  12.                         issues.
  13. Examples:
  14.       - The Club has an annual meeting in Stoughton, WI. (late summer).
  15.       - published a paper on VR by a straight-A high school student,
  16.                                                          Dan La Valley.
  17.       - published a winning entry in "Invent America" by an eight-
  18.                             year-old girl from Florida, Selena Moshell.
  19.       - participated in, and reported on, a VR trade show in Madison, WI.
  20.       - spun off a programming company, VRontier worlds of Stoughton,
  21.                      which creates software for education with VR Studio.

  23. Subscriber base as of June, 1992, is 38.  Subscribers include a VR artist
  24.       in Seattle, a director of a VR laboratory in Florida and his
  25.       daughter, a production company, and families around the USA.
